Lokiru (Tank) Nathan

Welcome to the family Lokiru Nathan!

Lokiru Nathan’s mother brought him and his two brothers to Mission Moroto at the beginning of 2022 because a group of raiders had attacked their village and dragged her out of her home. This type of violence is very common in the villages and has cost many men, women and children their lives.

Their father had passed away and their mother was terrified for her sons’ lives so she begged Rebekah to take them in so they could be safe.

Lokiru is adored for his cute, chubby belly and is known affectionately as “Tank” by the Rebekah and the staff at Mission Moroto

We are praying for more sponsors for these precious children.

Lokodoh Tabitha Tiamoe

Welcome to the family Lokodoh Tabitha Tiamoe!

Sisters Lokodoh Tabitha Tiamoe and Lomokol Lois Apalodou were brought to Rebekah one Sunday at church by their grandmother. She begged Rebekah to take the girls because their mother had died and the grandmother was unable to feed them.

However, there was no room at Mission Moroto at the time because the two new houses were still under construction. Rebekah started to say she did not have space but seeing the desperation in the grandmother’s eyes, she could not turn them away. Rebekah accepted and their grandmother started weeping and hugging her.

Lois is a very sweet girl and very fond of Pastor Matthew. When he comes to stay at the Mission, she loves to come and sit in his lap. Tabitha is also very sweet and loves to help take care of the younger children at Mission Moroto

We are praying for more sponsors for these precious children.
